Fine Foods joins the United Nations Global Compact for Sustainable Development
Fine Foods, in November 2021, has adhered to the United Nations Global Compact, the worldwide international organization of companies committed to the respect and promotion of 10 universal principles on human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption, through their economic activity:
By embracing these principles, Fine Foods is also committing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda:
Fine Foods is already quite active on some of the Sustainable Development Goals:
- Collaboration with universities on continuous improvement projects
- Talent Factory for high potential individuals
- Collaboration with local high schools in the area for the activation of school / work projects
The adoption of the UN Global Compact principles as well as other activities of Fine Foods on ESGs, will be reported on our website and the Communication on Progress (CoP) will be published annually on the Global Compact website.
Our first Sustainability Report, expected to be issued in 2022, will contain an extensive description of Fine Foods’ sustainable development.
