Fine Foods will replace the existing ERP with Microsoft AX. Nimbler flows with better traceability are expected with the new software, which will provide modern tools for controlling, planning and business intelligence.

The implementation of the new system  will be carried out by MHT, a Microsoft Dynamics AX Partner Launch Champion since 2006.

Cleaning and hygiene procedures are essential for the GMP and have always been a feather in Fine Foods’ cap. In cooperation with Skill, a company with substantial experience in services to the Pharma sector, employing approximately 4,000 people, Fine Foods has recently adopted the Skill’s web portal that tracks digitally all activities relative to Hygiene and Cleaning of the factories. As a result of this innovative investment, Fine Foods will be able to monitor constantly and precisely these activities and to share them efficiently and rapidly with auditors from customer’s or institutional organizations.

Fine Foods was one of the sponsors of an International Workshop focused on the architectural and urban aspects of the city of Zingonia, where the Company’s headquarter is located and where a very interesting and advanced industrial development took place in the 1970s.

The community of Zingonia has been embracing for a while the challenges of a multiethnic industrial and urban environment, thus it was chosen as a Business case for an Intensive Program of the European project “LED_LANDSCAPE EDUCATION FOR DEMOCRACY”.

The Workshop, organized by the department of Architecture of Bologna University and coordinated by the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, saw the participation of the Universities of Nürtingen-Geislingen and Kassel (Germany), Szent István University of Budapest (Hungary) and LE:NOTRE Institute (Holland).
